SINGLE COATED COLORS
Aquamarine:
A deep blue green color. Compare to Voltarc® Aquamarine. Blacklight:
(Blacklight)Do not confuse with Black Light Blue. This emits a dull blue light in the visible spectrum, coupled with an invisible ultraviolet output. Used in bars, etc. where a blacklight effect is desired, but a little visible light is acceptable. When pumped with Neon, this glass glows a brilliant orange color. Blue:
(Blue)This standard blue emits a bright blue color when pumped with Argon. Most often it is pumped with Neon, where it gives a beautiful pink output. Compare to Voltarc® Blue, or EGL #E40 Blue. Coral Pink:
This glass gives off a beautiful pink color when pumped with Argon. Compare to Voltarc® Mercury Rose, or EGL Coral Pink. Fuchsia: This gives off a purplish pink color when pumped with Argon. Compare to Voltarc® Paradise Pink(TM), or EGL Falmingo. Green: Pumped with Argon, this gives off a bright green light. Compare to Voltarc® Green or EGL E10 Green. Neo Ruby: Normally pumped with Neon. This gives off a deeper red color than clear glass pumped with neon. If, when first pumped, you get a pinkish color it is an indication that you have some residual mercury in the tube (common if you pump Argon and Neon on the same manifold). Age the tube for a few hours and the pink color should go away. Purple: This is the color LSN was famous for. It is a deep purple with a blacklight effect. Very noticeable and appealing. If you have not tried it, do so now! Rich Blue: Pumped with Argon, this gives off a deep rich blue color. Compare to Voltarc® Sparkling Blue(TM), or EGL Horizon Blue for a fraction of the cost. Turquoise:
Similar to Aquamarine but not as deep, and a little less green (more blue).
