Jantec Neon Sign Warranty Information


At Jantec we stand behind all of our manufactured products. Your Jantec Neon Sign includes the following warranty:

  • Shipping Guarantee Against Breakage
    Your Jantec Neon Sign comes with a Shipping Guarantee Against Breakage during shipment. Our Neon Signs utilize a professional packaging procedure that is designed to withstand the rigorous UPS handling process, which exponentially reduces the chance of breakage during the delivery of your sign.  Unfortunately, under extreme handling and abuse, even our dual-carton packaging is sometimes unable to protect your sign against damage during shipment.
    When your sign is shipped it contains a notice on the outer box telling you to open the box and check for breakage within 24 hours of receipt of the sign.  Damage can be easily reported to us by phone at 814-726-3221 or via email at customerservice@jantecneon.com.  It is IMPORTANT that you open up your packaging, and check your neon sign for damage within 24 hours of delivery.  If Jantec is notified of the damage within 24 hours (or one business day), we will promptly take care of all repairs, parts, or sign replacement at absolutely no cost to our customer.  We may require pictures of the damage in order to determine the most efficient way to take care of your damaged sign.  Any sign reported to have shipping damage MUST still be in the original boxes; NO EXCEPTIONS.  After the initial 24-hour delivery period, please follow the "First 30 Days" instructions.
    Canada Shipments:  Our only remedy for neon signs damaged during delivery to Canada will be to send out replacement parts along with full repair instructions.
  • First 30 Days (includes our "Total Satisfaction Guarantee" for stock signs)
    For the first 30 days, in addition to our standard one year warranty, we will repair or replace (our option) any sign that is damaged during shipping, installation, or any other accidental damage (for Manufacturer Defects, refer to the One Year Warranty below). Even if you drop your sign on the floor while installing it - simply return your sign and it will be repaired or replaced. During this initial 30-day period you may also return stock signs for a full refund (excludes shipping charges) if, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied. Yes! You may return a stock sign even if you simply change your mind! Stock signs are considered signs that are purchased with all default options such as Backing, Color, Size, U.L. & Flashing. Any changes to these options from the Default choices is considered customization which changes the sign from a Stock to a Custom Sign. Custom signs are made to order and are limited to repair or replacement, no refunds will be given. All return shipping charges to send your sign to us, as well as charges for us to send out a repaired or replacement sign, will be the responsibility of the customer. Signs shipped "bill to receiver", or needing the payment of any fees, duties, or taxes will not be accepted by us.
  • One Year Manufacturer's Limited Warranty
    Jantec Neon Products warrants its products against defects in materials and workmanship (excludes breakage) for a period of one year from date of manufacture. Jantec Neon Products' obligation under this warranty or otherwise is expressly limited to repair or replacement of the merchandise involved, or at its option, refund of any amount not to exceed the sales price to its original customer for the merchandise involved, and only when the defects have not been caused by misuses, neglect, improper installation, alteration or accident. Jantec Neon Products shall require the return of the merchandise claimed as defective for its examination and shall be the sole judge as to whether material is in fact defective under the terms of this warranty. These alternatives shall be the buyer's exclusive remedies. In no case will Jantec Neon Products be liable for consequential damages even if Jantec Neon Products has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing warranties are in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Shipping the returned sign to Jantec Neon Products shall be the buyer's responsibility. No signs shipped "bill to recipient" will be accepted. Jantec Neon Products will assume responsibility for ground shipping charges to return the sign to the customer provided all qualifications for warranty repair have been met.
    Canada Warranty:  All Warranty Issues for neon signs shipped to Canada will be handled by sending out the proper replacement parts along with full repair instructions.
  • Signs over one year old or otherwise not covered by Warranty
    In order to keep prices reasonable for all of our customers, we cannot fix out-of-warranty signs at no cost. However, we do stand behind our products and offer repair services for a nominal fee. We find that our repair services are usually 1/3 or less than the price you would pay at a local sign shop. Cost estimates can be given by telephone to the best of our ability, but it is impossible to accurately assess the problem without testing the sign. When Jantec Neon Products receives your sign, it will be tested and you will be contacted regarding a firm price before the sign is repaired. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
  • Order Cancellation Policy
    All cancelled orders may be subject to a $25.00 Cancellation Fee if your order is cancelled after the payment has already been processed. This fee does not apply to products returned under the 30 day Satisfaction Guarantee Warranty.

IMPORTANT:  Before returning any sign to our warehouse, you must first contact our Customer Service Department at 814-726-3221. A customer service specialist will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which should be written in permanent marker on the outside box. No sign will be accepted for repair or replacement without the RMA number clearly written on the outside of the box. Instructions for packaging your neon sign properly will also be sent at this time. All packaging instructions must be followed in order for your sign to be repaired under any of our warranties.

Imported & Clearance Neon Sign Warranty Information


All Imported, Clearance & Liquidation Neon Signs include the following warranties:

  • Shipping Damage Warranty
    IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU OPEN AND CHECK YOUR NEON SIGN SHIPMENT FOR DAMAGE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF RECEIPT. If Jantec is notified within 24 hours (or one business day) the sign will either be picked up from your location, returned and repaired or replaced at no charge, or, we will send you replacement glass to repair the damaged portion of your sign. Any sign picked up and returned to us due to shipping damage MUST still be in the original boxes; NO EXCEPTIONS. Once received, your sign will be promptly repaired or replaced and then returned to you at our expense. After the initial 24-hour period, please follow the "90 Day Manufacturer's Limited Warranty" instructions.
  • 90 Day Manufacturer's Limited Warranty (unless otherwise stated in product description)
    Jantec Neon Products warrants all imported and liquidation neon signs against defects in materials and workmanship (excludes breakage) for a period of 90 days from date of manufacture (unless otherwise stated in product description). Jantec Neon Products' obligation under this warranty or otherwise is expressly limited to replacement of the merchandise involved, or at its option, refund of any amount not to exceed the sales price to its original customer for the merchandise involved, and only when the defects have not been caused by misuses, neglect, improper installation, alteration or accident. Jantec Neon Products shall require the return of the merchandise claimed as defective for its examination and shall be the sole judge as to whether material is in fact defective under the terms of this warranty. These alternatives shall be the buyer's exclusive remedies. In no case will Jantec Neon Products be liable for consequential damages even if Jantec Neon Products has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
